This agreement covers the software you install. Our Terms of Use cover accounts and online play, and both apply together.
This agreement covers your licence to install and play ACE game software you buy from a store. Where a game includes online services or an account, our Terms of Use apply as well.
“ACE”, “we”, and “us” means Hangzhou Chuyu Game Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as ACE Entertainment, of Hangzhou, China. Contact: business@gamewithace.com.
Your Licence
When you buy the game, you’re buying a licence to play it, not the software itself. That licence is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and for non-commercial use.
You may:
• Install and play the game on the devices your store’s rules allow.
• Make a backup copy for your own use.
• Play offline, where the game supports it.
• Record and share your gameplay, and create and share Mods, under our Fan Content Policy.
You may not:
• Sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the software or your licence key.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except where the law expressly permits it.
• Circumvent DRM, licence checks, or platform protections.
• Use the game commercially — in a venue, tournament, or paid event — without our written permission.
• Use the game or its assets to train generative AI models.
We own or license everything in the game: code, art, characters, story, music, audio, and text. Rights not granted here stay with us.
Buying, Refunds, And Consumer Rights
Your store handles the transaction. Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, the App Store, and Google Play each set their own payment, refund, and family-sharing rules, and those rules govern your purchase. Refund requests go to them, not to us.
Nothing here removes your statutory rights. If you’re a consumer, mandatory protections under your local law — including EU, UK, and Chinese consumer legislation — apply regardless of what this agreement says, and override anything inconsistent with them.
Updates And Availability
We may release patches, updates, and expansions, and your store may install them automatically. Updates may change or remove features, and may break Mods or save compatibility — we’ll flag significant changes where we reasonably can.
We don’t promise to support a game forever. If we discontinue online features that a game depends on, we’ll give 60 days’ public notice. Offline single-player content you’ve bought stays playable as installed.
Save data. Offline games store progress on your device. Uninstalling the game or losing the device loses that progress unless the game offers cloud saves. Purchases and saves generally don’t transfer between platforms or between iOS and Android.
Warranty And Liability
The software is provided “as is”. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects, and to the fullest extent the law permits we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent the law permits, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, lost data, or lost profits. Where liability can’t be excluded, it’s limited to what you paid for the game.
None of this limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that can’t lawfully be excluded.
Age Ratings
Our games carry ratings from the relevant bodies in each territory. Please check the rating before buying, and use platform parental controls where appropriate.
Termination
This licence ends if you materially breach it. On termination, stop using the software and delete your copies. Sections on ownership, warranty, and liability survive.
Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, with disputes going to the Binjiang District People’s Court, Hangzhou — except where your local consumer law entitles you to bring proceedings where you live, in which case that right stands.
Languages
The Chinese version is the original, governing text. Where this English version conflicts with it, the Chinese version governs.
